Newcastle is to hold an eight-day fun-filled festival of science in March.
Newcastle, in the north-east of England, has hosted a science festival since 2003.
ScienceFest 2012 will have a programme of special events, installations and film screenings taking place in cultural venues and designed to celebrate creativity within science.
Newcastle ScienceFest runs from 8 to 15 March at various venues in Newcastle
