Trentham Estate is offering a bumper bundle of family fun for February half term.
As one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations Trentham has come up with a packed programme making the 725-acre Estate the perfect choice for a fun day out.
There’s everything from a last chance to take a whirl on the real-ice lakeside rink to the first chance of the 2012 season to get up close and personal with 140 free-roaming monkeys at the unique Monkey Forest.
And there’s some money saving deals too, including 20% off a high rope adventure at Aerial Extreme by showing a valid Trentham Gardens Day Ticket or Annual Ticket.
Trentham also offers two great value family tickets giving special discounts at any time of the year, while for Valentines Day – which falls within half term – love will be in the air with two-for-one entry to Trentham Gardens on Tuesday 14 February.
For half term there will be special events as well as the usual family attractions.
At the award-winning Trentham Gardens, the kids and young at heart can enjoy Adventure Play – with activities for tots to teens – before tackling the Hide and Speak Maze or taking a boat ride on Trentham’s own electrically-powered, ecologically friendly, 42 seat catamaran.
Get active with Wilderness Survival Skills – on 11th, 12th 18th & 19th February – where you can build a range of shelters and forage for wild woodland edibles before having a chance to try them!
February half term will also be the last opportunity to go ice skating at Trentham’s real ice rink, set in a beautiful lakeside setting.
For a day out with a real difference how about bringing your little monkeys to meet ours for the first time in 2012?
The Monkey Forest reopens for the season on 11th February where visitors can get up close and personal with 140 free-roaming Barbary Macaques who live within the 60 acres of ancient Staffordshire woodland.
Also set within the tranquil 725-acre grounds of Trentham Estate is tree based High Ropes Adventure Course Aerial Extreme, which caters for everyone from novice adventurer to serial adrenalin junkie.
Completing the line-up, Trentham Shopping Village has over 50 enticing shops along with 14 cafes and restaurants.
