The Falstaff Experience in Stratford upon Avon, one England’s most romantic towns has several ways for you to create a special memory that will leave you with enough change for a romantic meal this Valentine’s Day.
There is no denying that times are tough and celebrations like Valentines can add extra pressure.
However a creative approach may mean that you can spoil your loved one this Valentines and not spoil your bank account.
Pub Ghost Tour of Stratford upon Avon
Kick your Valentines celebrations off with a whole evening of entertainment on Friday 10th February with a Pub Ghost Tour of Stratford upon Avon, led by the notorious Stratford legend that is Dashing Jack.
Jack with his roguish charms will lead you and your loved one around the streets, graveyards and secret alleyways of Stratford.
Cuddle close as Jack spins stories and laughs about the towns haunted history and relax in 3 different pubs with a drink included in the price.
This romantic experience is just £17.50 per person AND includes 3 drinks.
An evenings entertainment, your drinks included in the price and seeing the historic town of Stratford.
It can’t get more romantic.
The fun begins at 7:30pm. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Stratford Tour
On Saturday 11th February, Shakespeare will lead his usual tour of the town at 12:15pm kicking off from outside his Birthplace.
Tickets are available from the Falstaff Experience or Shakespeare himself.
This unique tour of the town is the ideal way to treat that special someone.
The 12:15 tour costs just £5.50 and is an ideal way to work up an appetite for romantic lunch.
Of course a writer of love stories such as William Shakespeare also has something special planned for Valentines.
Stratford Lantern Lit Tours
On the evening of the 11th February at 7:30pm Shakespeare will leading a Lantern Lit tour of his home town.
He will muse on his work, loves and tragedies.
Who better than the greatest writer in the English to language to serenade the love of your life with some of his beautiful love poetry.
This romantic adventure costs just £8.00 per person, and finishes in time for you take your special someone nice for dinner.
For those couples that are perhaps a little more daring they may enjoy a Lantern Lit Tour of England’s most haunted building.
The Falstaff Experience museum shot to fame in the paranormal world in 2004 when it was visit by ‘Most Haunted Live’.
Couples can cuddle in the shadows as their guide tells them grisly tales of the buildings tragic past.
Tours are every day of the week at 6:00pm and 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00pm on Friday’s and Saturdays.
Book on the tour on Saturday 11th and the lady shall also receive a free red rose.
This unique experience costs just £7.50 per person.
Valentines Ghost Hunt
If you and your loved ones are night owls you may also enjoy the Valentines Ghost Hunt taking place on Saturday 11th.
This spine chilling experience is run by and needs to be booked through events company Fright Nights.
This overnight Ghost Hunt begins at 10:00pm and ends around 5:00am.
