Published articles are syndicated/publicised through Twitter, Facebook, RSS, and an opt-in email service.

GoUK.com Advertising and Marketing Options

(1) NAVIGATION COLUMN

There are three 300×250 pixels (maximum of 90kb) advertising slots that can take static or animated images and are available for calendar month bookings.

The navigation column appears on every page of the website.

• TOP POSITION = GBP 800 plus VAT
• MIDDLE POSITION = GBP 750 plus VAT
• BOTTOM POSITION = GBP 700 plus VAT

(2) BANNER AT THE TOP OF ARTICLES

At the top of each article, there is a 468×60 banner (maximum of 90kb) that can take static or animated images and that is available for calendar month bookings.

The same banner appears on every article (but not on the index/category pages).

• GBP 800 plus VAT

(3) BANNER AT THE BOTTOM OF ARTICLES

At the bottom of each article, there is a 468×60 banner (maximum of 90kb) that can take static or animated images and that is available for calendar month bookings.

The same banner appears on every article.

• GBP 200 plus VAT

(4) SPONSORED ARTICLES

Articles that you write can be published on the site with up to five links to external websites (copy and links subject to our approval).

Articles are listed under the various category headings that apply: e.g. one article might be listed under Exhibitions + Days Out + Food + Art.

Articles stay on the site for a minimum of 1 calendar year.

Copy should be sent to us in Word or the body text of an email.

One accompanying image can be included with a maximum width of 470 pixels.

This will be compressed to a maximum weight of 90kb for publishing purposes.

The image will appear at the top of the article and can be linked to the client’s website.

You should state the caption to be used and the name of the copyright holder.

Sponsored articles will also be promoted on Twitter and Facebook on the day of publication.

Sponsored promotions on Twitter and Facebook are tagged with (s).

• GBP 150 plus VAT per article

(5) SPONSORED TWEETS ON TWITTER AND FACEBOOK

One tweet (with link) to be published on Twitter and Facebook but without an accompanying article.

Sponsored promotions are tagged with (s).

• GBP 100 plus VAT per tweet

(6) PRODUCT OR EVENT REVIEWS

Independent product or event reviews are available offering a minimum 500 word article plus picture (as supplied by the client) with up to five external links.

We will send you the review copy prior to publication.

If you dislike the review, you can ask us not to publish it, but the fee will still be payable.

• Product Reviews = GBP 500 plus VAT
• Event Reviews = GBP 500 plus VAT per day, plus travel and entrance passes as necessary
